Jennifer TaloneySuccessful marketing programs begin with sound research and analysis. This is the domain in which Jennifer Taloney excels. Jennifer Taloney, owner of TargetPractice Marketing, will join Barbara in Weeks 8 & 9 to discuss psychographic segmentation – techniques to mine and segment your current database, determining which markets net the highest sales return.

Since graduating magna cum laude with a degree in Marketing Research from Missouri State University, Jennifer has applied her skills and experience in support of marketing plans. Industries include everything from grocery stores and senior living communities to banks and vision centers. She founded Target Practice Marketing in 2009, a research and analytics consulting firm where her diverse client list includes everything from insurance firms to construction companies.

Driven by her desire to launch successful marketing plans that create results, Jennifer has demonstrated the ability to mine golden opportunities from existing databases. She is also skilled at using sound demographic and psychographic data to identify, target and motivate likely buyers. Jennifer is relentless in her search for marketing answers.

Having served in marketing and research capacities for both corporations and ad agencies, Jennifer’s perspectives have been broadened and the protocols she establishes are enriched. Most recently she pioneered and headed up a five-person research and analytics department for one of Kansas City’s ten largest advertising agencies. In that capacity she led efforts that included surveys, focus groups, response analysis, mailing list selection, and message development.
